Hotel Al Khozama Introduces Revolutionary Brunch Concept

Oct. 01, 2009

Capital's first themed brunch is a culinary exploration of two continents paying homage to Marco Polo

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA - Riyadh's Friday Brunch is now more than just a meal, as Hotel Al Khozama, A Rosewood Hotel introduces the city's first themed brunch combining an entertaining atmosphere with high-end international cuisine.

Brunch at Hotel Al Khozama is based on the travels of Marco Polo along the Silk Route, and brings together the cuisines of his journeys. Three of Hotel Al Khozama's dining outlets transform on Fridays, presenting live cooking stations from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East as well as diverse buffet offerings and sumptuous sweets.

The Windrose will be the main site for brunch, as live cooking stations representing Marco Polo's destinations prepare the international cuisine to perfection. La Patisserie will serve as a pastry shop serving classic treats like homemade waffles and ice cream, while Caravan Stop offers an array of Arabic and Asian dishes.

In addition to the excellent global feast, Hotel Al Khozama's Friday Brunch is a first-rate choice for families. The enlarged children's play area features Nintendo Wii, board games and face painting, and uniquely offers educational activities, as portrayals of Marco Polo's Silk Route journeys provide children with an inspiring trip through history.

"Friday Brunch is one of Riyadh's most treasured family pastimes, and the Brunch at Hotel Al Khozama caters to adults and children alike with the city's most expansive international brunch and entertainment options," said Peter Finamore, Managing Director of Hotel Al Khozama, A Rosewood Hotel. "Our brunch, the first themed brunch in Riyadh, allows diners to experience the very best dishes from across two continents while their children are awed by the exciting tales of Marco Polo's explorations. Guests will find a perfect combination of family-friendly atmosphere and exquisitely prepared international cuisine, all delivered with Rosewood's flawless personalised service."

The brunch, which costs SAR 165 per person plus 15 % service charge, includes unlimited non-alcoholic champagne. Children under 6 years old dine for free, while 6 to 12 year olds pay half price. To make a booking for brunch, please call +966.1.273.2222 or email alkhozama@rosewoodhotels.com.
