Awareness among the youth is the basis for a healthy environment
RIYADH, SAUDI ARABI - Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel and Hotel Al Khozama, A Rosewood Hotel, celebrated the World Environment Day which takes place on June 5 of every year, by reinforcing environmental awareness among the youth.
On this occasion the management of Al Faisaliah Hotel and Hotel AlKhozama invited students from the Early Learning Schools to visit Hotel Al Khozama and to participate in the“Verdes” program. Verdes is an environment awareness initiative of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. The visit started with a presentation on the environment and how to protect it and preserve it through conscious savings on water and energy, also the topics of recycling and reusing certain products were on the agenda. Thereafter, the students listened to an explanation on the usefulness of plants and trees from the gardening expert at Hotel Al Khozama, and they commemorated the event by planting a tree in the hotel’s garden.
